3 A.M. Thoughts

Sometimes I wish there’s someone

I can talk with about everything.

About anything.

They don’t even need

to say a word.

No need to agree

or disagree

with what I say.

Allow me to laugh.

Allow me to breakdown.

And just listen.

Just listen to what I

Truly want to say.

What I’ve been through.

What I’m going through.

Or what I’ll be going through.

But there’s no one

I can trust these days.

Words always get twisted.

No one to lean on.

No one to listen.

Why?

When I just want to let it all out?

It’s sad, ain’t it?

Just sad.

To have so much to say

but not one soul to tell it to.

No one willing to lend an ear.

No one patient enough

or kind enough

to listen to someone

who is nothing but sad.

  1. Hello Friend. I just read your post about your need for someone to talk to. Dear friend, I can understand how you must feel. Many people feel this way at many points in their life. If I may ask, do you believe in God? God is a perfect someone to talk to. Some people hold the notion that they cannot talk to God because of sin. NO! so long as you ask for a forgiveness of sin, you can talk to God. Nobody is exempted from God’s presence, he is our creator and he loves us dearly.

If you can keep an open mind, here is something that you can try: find a quiet space free from distractions, imagine that Jesus is in front of you, talk to him the way you will with a close friend, tell him how you feel. Beware of sudden distractions when you pray, this is a trick the devil uses to stop us from having focused prayers. You might also get the feeling that God is not there or that you are simply wasting your time, this is another trick that the devil uses to discourage us from prayers. Be focused and tell the lord how you feel. Jesus is there with you and he cares for you, so invite him into your life. Tell Jesus to make your heart his home, and ask him to pour out his blessings. When you get the answers to your prayers, do not forget to thank God. Also try to maintain a relationship with him, keep telling him how you feel, keep thanking him and finding out about him by reading the bible and obeying it. This way he can remain in your life and continue to work his miracles.

Remember that God loves you, and he wants to connect with you. Good luck and God bless you. Amen.

  2. There should always be someone. Anyone. I feel talking to a dog helps a lot too. When you don’t want to share it with anyone, they are the best companions. But that’s just something that I feel. 🙂 Beautifully expressed 👌

  3. I hope you are better now…i say everything to my creator ….he listens to me…i feel better after that…
When I feel sad….i try to look at people who are suffering from different problems…..i try to make the reason for my sadness is trivial compared with those who lost their homes in wars or those who are injured and bleeding and find no hospital to help …..

    1. Hi! Yeah, I used to write a journal since grade school. I only stopped at the beginning of this year. It has been my best companion/outlet for years! Thanks for dropping by! 😊
