Hello there! Welcome to WWW Wednesday, hosted by Sam from Taking On A World of Words. Just answer the three W questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
You can leave a link of your post in the comments section so I and other readers can check it out.
Recently Finished:
I’ve finished Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant and I liked it. I think it was the right choice as an introduction to Anne Tyler’s works for me. I’m looking forward to more.
Currently Reading:
I’ve finally started with A Dance with Dragons and what a delight to start with Tyrion’s chapter! I’ve also started with A Monster Calls during my coffee break yesterday. Both books started quite good.
Up Next:
I’m still not sure what to read next since A Dance with Dragons is a lengthy read and I don’t have much time to read these days. I am considering The Russian Concubine, though.
By the way, I have also recently reviewed Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. You can check it out here. I’m always late with my reviews but I’ll add them here from now on whenever I get to write something.
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the beginning of A Monster Calls! I hope you love it and it maybe doesn’t break aaall your feels (but some of them, in a good way).

I am so intrigued about the dream already and what story the monster wants to hear from Conor!

Great post! I want to read Anne Tyler for ages now and, hopefully, Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant will also be my first introduction to her work, so I am glad you liked it. I was torn between making this book my first of Tyler or her Breathing Lessons.

I’ve heard of Breathing Lessons before but couldn’t find a copy then I found Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant.🙂 I hope you’d like it, too!

Great selection! I just finished a reread of A Monster Calls yesterday and it’s without doubt one of my all time favorites! I love the movie as well. And I think A Dance With Dragons is probably my favorite ASOIAF book, mostly because it features so many of my favorite characters… Have a wonderful week and happy reading! 🙂

I’m getting my way through A Dance with Dragons. It was just so nice that it started with Tyrion’s chapter right away! Happy reading to you, too. 🙂

I haven’t read these titles yet but I’m familiar with Shawshank Redemption. Are you enjoying it so far?
Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I also highly recommend Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King. It was a very quick read – a short novella – but I found it great and inspirational (just like the movie).
