Top Ten Tuesday – Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads

Welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday!

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s given topic is Books on My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads.

So here are the books on my TBR which I think I’ll be giving 5-star ratings for no specific reason at the moment! 😉 I just think they’d be great reads and would deserve a 5-star. 🙂

Have you read any of these books? Which ones were 5-star reads for you? Or do you plan to read them soon, too?

Thanks a lot for reading and I’m looking forward to reading all your TTTs! Just drop a link on the comment section so I can check your posts or share your list in the comments section.

Happy Tuesday, homo sapiens!

  1. I examine the Gulag years in the past and it’s an remark beginning real tab that need to stand read via everyone. Angela’s Ashes I did no longer enjoy. I idea it used to be hyped on or disappointing.

  2. Great post and list of books! I am sure that Matterhorn and Becoming will prove to be 5-star reads. I have recently purchased the Makioka Sisters in a charity shop, and I consider myself to be lucky – cannot wait to finally read it. Will you perhaps be interested in some buddy reading of this book or any other in future? 🙂

As for The Godfather, I love the movies, and wanted to read this book for so long, but when I finally did I cannot say that I enjoyed it much. There were some good things in there and some suspense, but also some very weird and needless sexism which I could not shake off.

    1. I’ve been wanting to read Matterhorn for a long, long time but couldn’t find a physical copy. I just think it’s better to read it on paper rather than an ebook or something.😉 Cool that you’ve found a copy of The Makioka Sisters, too! I would love to be your buddy in reading this, however, being the moody reader that I am, we might not just get pace well. But huge thanks, Diana, really! I’m humbled and delighted with you offering me to be your reader buddy. Thank you.🙂
I love the movies of The Godfather! I mean, who doesn’t?😅 That is why I wanted to read the book. Perhaps there’s more in it?🤔
Thanks for visiting and happy reading! 🙂

    1. Yeah, I’ve read many good reviews of The Gulag and I’m really looking forward to it. Sorry to know you didn’t enjoy Angela’s Ashes, I should still give it a shot and maybe I’ll understand why it was disappointing for you?
Anyhow, thanks for visiting and happy reading. 🙂
