Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday hosted by Sam from Taking On A World of Words.
As usual, just answer the three W questions:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Recently Finished
A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers is a beautiful, gentle and hopeful story about one’s purpose in life. 4 stars.
The Copenhagen Trilogy by Tove Ditlevsen started quite well for me but I ended up a little disappointed. The writing felt impersonal somehow as I read on considering she’s a poet. So maybe I’ll give this a second read. But still I’m giving it 3 stars.
A Lullaby for Witches by Hester Fox was not as good as I was expecting it to be but it was still a good read. 3 stars.
The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb is my favorite read of the week. Wonderful story. Definitely 5 stars!
Currently Reading
Both books started out excellently so I hope to enjoy both to the end.
Up Next
I am interested to read Robert Iger’s The Ride of a Lifetime after reading a lot of good reviews about it. Also, Pandora by Susan Stokes Chapman looks like an exciting read as well, so I hope to get to it next.
