Welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday! It has been a long time since I last did this and so I’m really excited to get to do it again!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s given topic is Authors I’ve Read the Most Books By.
Haruki Murakami – 17 books
Apparently, Haruki Murakami is my favorite author, ever. I’ve nearly read most of his books and I’ve enjoyed and loved them all. I hope there’s more to come from this brilliant author.
Agatha Christie & Jessica Zafra – 12 books each
And Then There Were None started my reading journey of Agatha Christie’s works. I was then hooked with the Miss Marple series afterwards.
Jessica Zafra is a Filipino fiction writer known for her sharp and witty writing style. I still hope to read her other books when I get back to the Philippines.
Nicholas Sparks – 9 books
Paulo Coelho & Dan Brown – 6 books each
George R.R. Martin & Mitch Albom – 5 books each
Gillian Flynn, JRR Tolkien, Rainbow Rowell, Jodi Picoult, Stephenie Meyer – 4 books each
Jose Saramago, Stephanie Perkins, Chang-Rae Lee, Khaled Hosseini, Sam Harris, John Green, Neil Gaiman, William Boyd – 3 books each
There you go guys! Do we have the same list? Share your answers in the comments section or feel free to drop a link so I can check them all out.
Happy Tuesday, Homo sapiens!
Cool post. Read my recent and tell me what you think.

Hey, this is a nice compilation. I’m definitely going to check out Haruki Murakami. 17 books is a lot so his writing must be amazing. I’ve read more of Danielle Steel’s books than any other author but if I had to make a list too, Paulo Coehlo will be on it. I’ve read 5 of his books.

Coelho’s books are inspiring. Which one’s your favorite?
I loved Murakami from the time I finished his book Norwegian Wood. I think it was a good introduction to his works and I’d recommend it to everyone who wants to try reading Murakami.
I don’t remember which Danielle Steel book I’ve read but I probably finished 1 pr 2? Not sure really! 😉

“The Alchemist”––I know it’s everyone’s favourite but I’ve read it too many times. I also like “The Winner Stands Alone” too. You should read it if you haven’t.
Thanks for the recommendation. I just added it to my reading list.

The Alchemist was my first from Coelho. I loved it. I’ve also read The Winner Stands Alone though I didn’t like it as much as I liked The Alchemist.

I love that you shared the authors’ pictures. I’ve only read about half of these so far, but hopefully I’ll get to try the rest of them soon. Great list!!

I enjoyed 1Q84 as well, it was worth the long read! 😊
My favorites are Kafka on the Shore and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle though the latter was the most difficult read from Murakami, for me, at the same time.

Wah. Good for you. I’ve never read any of Zafra’s works before. Any work you can recommend for me to start.
Will do my own Top 10 Tuesday. Guess who tops my list? Danielle Steel with 42 books! Haha. I have an all female Top 4 – Mary Higgins Clark, Agatha Christie and Nora Roberts. The works of DS, MHC and NR were the most abundant back then; their works were the most accessible, hence, them topping the list. It was only later that I started immersing in AC’s works. I’m nearly at thirty and I have a lot of her works in my bookshelf left unread.
Great post 🙂

Wow! 42 books from Danielle Steel alone! I can’t remember what book I’ve read from her… Hmmm…
And that’s a lot, too, from Christie!
It’s been a very long time since I started reading Zafra’s works, I’m not even sure I marked them read in Goodreads but maybe I’d recommend The 500 People You Meet in Hell and Manananggal Terrorizes Manila… Or start with Twisted. 🙂
Looking forward to your Top Ten List.
