Hi there! Welcome to WWW Wednesday, hosted by Sam from Taking On A World of Words. Just answer the three W questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
You can leave a link of your post in the comments section so I and other readers can check it out.
Let’s get started…
Recently Finished:
Hotel Iris started out quite well and interesting for me but turned out to be a bit weak. But I’m still inclined to read more of Yoko Ogawa’s works.
The Unexpected Guest was a quick and exciting read though I guessed who the culprit was quite easily. Probably because I’ve read too much of Agatha Christie’s Ms. Marple stories. It’s a perfect light read on a very hectic work week.
Currently Reading:
This is my first Anne Tyler read. I’m enjoying the book so far, the characters and her observations on everyday life. The pace is a little bit slow for my taste but I’m surprisingly okay with it.
Up Next:
I didn’t browse my TBR shelf this week because I should really get started with this. It’s been long overdue. 🙂
The Unexpected Guest sounds like a really nice quick read! I used to love Agatha Christie books, but I haven’t read her in a while. I’ve never read GRRM, either (his books aren’t really my thing), but I know so many people who love them. Hope you enjoy it!

It’s also my Agatha Christie book after a really long time!
And yeah, I really hope to enjoy A Dance with Dragons! Thank you!😊

I haven’t read any of the books except for A Dance With Dragons. I can’t wait to hear what you think of all of them! Great blog! I love it.

I have never heard of this WWW Wednesday. Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant was very good, it was a book club pick actually.

I think A Dance With Dragons is probably my favorite of the series so far, mostly because it features a lot of my favorite characters. I hope you will enjoy it! Have a wonderful week and happy reading. Here’s my WWW.

I’m really looking forward to read it, I miss Tyrion, Daenerys and the rest who weren’t in the 4th book. Happy reading and enjoy the rest of the week, too!🙂

I haven’t read any of these books, but I need to read A Dance With Dragons too. Although I am thinking of restarting the series, as I got a little distracting by the TV series and it feels ages ago since I read the earlier books. Happy reading! 🙂

Yeah, the TV series is distracting. I was actually disappointed with the final season so I really want to read the books instead.🙂

I actually enjoyed the final season, but I do understand why people didn’t. It certainly felt sped up, so I will definitely enjoy getting the extra detail from the books.

Yeah, I’d better get started with it really.🙂

Sorry to hear that Hotel Iris didn’t have a strong ending. That’s too bad! Also, I love Agatha Christie! I’ve read a dozen of her stories, though surprisingly few Miss Marple ones. Here’s my WWW: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2019/10/09/www-wednesdays-october-9-2019/

Reading it made me want to read her other books more. I’ve only read the Ms. Marple series and a few others, nothing about Poirot yet.🙂

Oh I would say Poirot’s books are my favourites, hope you enjoy if you do read them!
